Pirelli P Zero Nero is the OEM and only available AS tire for the 20" Audi rims (at least the ones on my 2013).

Three-tenths of an inch is always potentially meaningful, depending on the variables associated with speed, pothole depth/length, angle of impact and tire air pressure. Depending on your local road conditions, it could be a close call.

There are many variables at play here. How deep the hole, speed you hit it at, etc..etc...
In other words it could mean the difference.
