Default oil line problem

ok well alittle update my timing slipped and busted my head on my 87 5000csqt. Replaced the head, new headgasket set, newish turbo, new starter. Problem now is that the oil feed line for the turbo sprong a REALLY bad leak on the flex from bending it to get the head out. Think it would work temp to cut the flex out and replace with bulk hose and clamp it really tight? just enouph for a week till I get paid again??
