bixenon
I just bought 2006 A4 with bixenon lights, but they don't look like xenon at all. I used to have 2002 A4 with xenon lights and you can see that they were blueish, very nice looking. The 2006 A4's bixenon look like HID. Has anyone notice it?

The xenons I have are the same colour that I had in my B5
It should appear fairly blue when you first initially turn on the lights then gradually get whiter but there is still a hint of blue.

the bixenon headlights should look like HID, since that's what they are....
i dont get your question
high intensity discharge is the type of lights, xenon is the gas that is burning. HIDs are just arc lights that burn xenon gas.
xenon and HID are the same thing, unless you are talking about cheap xenon filled regular halogen bulbs

I thought that High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlights is what Honda S2000 has. Are they filled with Xenon? If they are, how come they are not blue? Anyway, my point is that my 2002 A4 had blue Xenon lights and my 2006 A4 has white Xenon lights. I was wondering how come they have so different light if they are both Xenon?

You are right! But the hint of blue is very diluted compared to my 2002 A4's xenon headlights! If they are both Xenon, they should have the same ray of light. My 2002 A4 had beautiful blue Xenon, and this new 2006 A4 has very S2000 (if I can make the comparison) looking headlight.

Colour temperature has changed over the period of time most likely
You still have xenon and that's that. IF you don't like the colour temperature, look for some aftermarket xenon bulbs but honestly, going bluer, you actually get less reflective light at night. I rather have as much brightness as possible vs having a blue colour but that's just my two cents.

HID=Xenon
HID is the entire system, xenon is just the gas inside the bulb capsule. Xenon/HID lights come in all sorts of colors. Audi usually uses 4300k lights which are a bright white with a ting of blue. BMW uses a higher number capsule which produces a bluer light.

bmw actually burn at 4300k as well, it's their projectors that give that tint
the metal inside that produces the cutoff line, gives a very distinct blue cutoff. my friend changed out the metal in his audi projectors, with the metal from an aluminum can. gave it the same crisp blue cuttoff as bmw's

he doesn't want usefullness, he wants the same look that ricers go for.... the blue
he'd rather someone see his car has blue headlights than have a bright white light pouring from the front of his car...
the less white in the light, the less you can see
