I just noticed something odd...the motor in the RS4 uses 4 valves/cylinder, not 5.

I just noticed something odd...the motor in the RS4 uses 4 valves/cylinder, not 5.
assuming the UK website is correct, the tech specs for the RS4 motor show "4-valve technology"...am I alone in seeing this for the first time? Or is it just a typo?

There has been much speculation as far as maximum attainable power output, but many high high hp engines use 4 vavles per cylinder, not 5. See: just about any other engine besides the 2.7T or 1.8T.
I'm sure the 2.0T will make higher hp in the future, hell it's making 260-270hp with just a chip/exhaust. I'm pretty sure audi is phasing 5v technology out completely and reverting back to 4.
