Dealer told me the blades would NOT be covered under rust warranty.
He claims he's tried it in the past and been shot down from Audi.
New blades and stainless screws, painted from the dealer ready to install are $1107. And that is not installed
Are the E-Bay ones any good? And do they slide in and bolt right up?

This really sucks because it also happened on the C5; don't know how they hadn't learned their lesson yet. One of the few little things that are making me consider a different brand for my next vehicle.
I wonder if writing a letter AoA will get a different response..

I'm thinking my next vehicle may be a Acura. If only they had all the things my Audi has (power, heated steering wheel, push button start and that awesome upgraded leather), I'd be looking much more seriously.
In all honesty, this 05 has been just fantastic! The best, most reliable vehicle we have owned, my wife has even had Hondas and now owns a Toyota. That's really quite remarkable! The C5 2.7t I had was quite a pile, quite surprised I even tried another Audi. The only thing I don't like about my 05 C6 4.2 sport suspension is the severe inside tire wear, can't get decent tire mileage no matter the brand of tire. Just too much camber and it eats the inside of the tire up. No way to adjust it properly either.
Door blades rusting and warping is inexcusable for a car of this caliber.

they r likely worn and causing the inner tire wear

as far as doorblades
late 90s early 2000s a few german cars had separate door blade pieces.. i guess the manufactures liked the option being able to tweak the style without engineering a new door.. they all have learned
