Genuine Audi LED License Bulbs for C6
#11
Do these LEDs flicker every couple of minutes or so when the car is running and the lights are off (when running cold diagnostics)?

FYI - I've heard early 2012 A8's came with regular bulbs. During the mid-year model, they changed to LED. Hence, they are designed to work with previous set up like ours.

Didn't feel the need to check... I think my title of the post might confuse people. These are not just the bulb replacement. These are the entire casing as shown above. As you can see from the picture, there is a circuitry to prevent error/flickering issues.

The aftermarket LEDs that I put in were complete units as well (casing, lens, etc.), not a bulb replacement. They were manufactured by Racing Dash, and were designed for the C6's and were plug and play. I guess I'll bite the bullet, and give it a shot to see what happens.
Thanks for the response.

By the way, I have a brand new A4 as a loaner. These have the same LED set up as the C7. Same effect... strong reflection off the bumper.
