And just to note: the black pins are from me using a Sharpie so that i knew which ones to resolder. You could barely tell that they had bad solder joints (i just free-eyed it), but you could sort of see a circle around the leads.

As noted above, just scratch off the resin a bit (you can see they dipped the entire thing thing in red resin), heat up the joint, and put a dab of new solder on (mostly for the flux cleaning magic). You should be good to go! I've only tested mine for like ~30 minutes, but it worked flawlessly every time, which is more than i've gotten it to work in the past year.

edit: a year and a half later and this fix is still working 100% of the time!

when I poked my head under there, I could not see a way of opening that box... any pointers there?

I just took a screwdriver and bent the aluminum housing tabs (four) - there certainly isn't a good way to do it, ya just have to bend them enough to get the black faceplate off, then the circuit board will squeeze out (press on the top and bottom while pulling it out to make it easier - don't force it too much).

Use a screw driver at these locations on the aluminum housing:

Can you post information how you get to this module - is it one of modules installed next to fuse box ( there is alots of modules installed)

If you can send short info how you get your one out will be nice ( any sketch or plan will be nice

Actualy I found them by googling My Cruise control is Back!!! Thanks Man @ - now I got only Alarm to sort out and everything works like it should @ - Thanks again
