IIRC on the C5 Audi did offer a remote start option in certain (?Scandinavian) markets. Looking at the manual for my C6 it looks as if this has been replaced by a timer controlled pre-heat option. It may be that this is only available for diesels and hence not available in North America.

Also with remote start their are legislation issues. Here in the UK it is technically illegal to leave a car on the road with the engine running and no driver in the vehicle so we would not be allowed to have remote start anyway. In addition you cannot start a manual C6 unless you have your foot on the clutch meaning a remote start would not work unless it bypassed that lockout

Since you are willing to pay whatever it takes, I am sure that for $1,000,000 the Audi factory will install it for you under the special order program

Most installers won't work on the newer European cars because of the difficulty of interfacing with the Canbus system used for the electronics. The days of splicing in wires of aftermarket systems will soon be a thing of the past. DEI makes aftermarket alarms that are designed to be used with our Canbus systems, but I haven't read of any actual installs (doesn't mean it hasn't been done). I'm pretty sure that with the DEI, you can add the remote start to the unit. Find a certified DEI installer with European install experience and you may get what you want.
