Default I didn't know I needed a written invitation to post here; next time I'll check with you first.

Please go ahead and buy the Veyron and spare us peons.

Default No invitation needed; just something constructive to say.

And as I said, I bought the car I wanted. This is also why I post in the C6 forum instead of an A8 board.

Default Re: That's why I haven't done it already; not sure how it will look.

What wheels did this come with when you bought it? Although I do like the ones it comes with from the factory better, it is your car and you should be able to put whatever rims you like to your taste. Enjoy

Default Re: Those wheels are all wrong, they do not belong in that car...

First off, wheels go "on" a car, not "in".

And praytell, what wheels do feel are more appropriate?

And question on your sig line. What is "6WD"? One might assume 6 Wheel Drive, but that seems unlikely.

Default Still better than looking old and out of date...

And as I said, this may be a regional taste.

I have gotten dozens of unsolicted, positive comments at gas pumps, parking lots, etc... when people saw the car and wanted to discuss it.

Even had one guy pull up beside me in traffic to specifically ask where I got the wheels.

So leave room for a little individuality. This is America you know.

I actually saw these same rims on speedvision or one of those channels. One of those muscle car makeovers. They were on a muscle type car 1960something. Which in my opinion looked better than on a new Audi.

Default Don't think so

These rims only come in metric bolt patterns (i.e. for Audi, BMW, and Mercedes).

Never saw a '60s muscle car with metric bolt patterns.

Default Pay no attention to Mr. SoCal; he can't take any criticism.

You will always be wrong and he will always be right!
