I have been told, the Timing Belt on my car should be changed each 120.000Km or 5 years. My feeling is 120.000Km is a bit too long however I have never heard of each 5 years.
My car is a 2001 with 65.000Km. It stands in a garage for a minimum of 7 months each year. Anyone have an opinion on this? The man telling me this owned a BMW Dealership for many years and now has his own shop which he runs only because he loves cars.
