Sorry to see you go!
At least you acquired a BMW and not a Junkxus. We loved our 3 series, and our X5. I agree with you on the new 3 series. Also, they are very small inside, and have little to no storage space. We do love the new 5 series. Maybe I will replace he x5 with a 5 series. I must say we love the "Q".

The Q5 is a great SUV, but I got tired of driving SUV and went back to sedans. No matter how sporty a SUV is, it can never handle like a sport sedan.

Not trying to high jack this forum, new 3 (F30) is slightly bigger inside then E90. But this is matter of personal taste.
I test drive new 328 and new 335 and find both very sporty and responsive as a great sport sedan. Sure 335i is way faster, but for day-to-day driving in Los Angeles 328i will be great car.

First, thanks for all your help here. I am still waiting for 2013 Q5 to finalized which SUV to get.

Next, just curious, have you look at the A6? If so, how was it relative to the bimmer?

The Q5 was my wife's car, I traded in my 2012 A6 for the 535xi. Here is the good thread describing the difference between the two cars:

Agreed. I actually thought the F30 (new 3 series) was larger than the E39 (late 90's 5 series). If so, that has to be plenty large enough...
