Californication_

I have an Audi Allroad and just yesterday I got the CV axle changed on the right passenger side. When I was driving, after I had accelerated and was at a red light, the car began to shake and the engine light was blinking, but when I drove off went back to normal. There was also smoke coming from the under the hood when I popped it open. This morning I had no issues with it.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? What could be some of the causes? It did not have this issue prior to changing the CV axle so I am assuming maybe something else was touched...
