Default Safety triangle?

Any of you get one of these with your Q7. It is supposed to be in the compartment that is at the base of the hatch. It'll be in the center and over your head with the hatch opened.

The parts catalog shows a collapsible safety triangle in the picture but doesn't record a part number for it. So it may not be an active part. I'll have to check a few of the Q7s on the lot to see if they have this. But it would be good for leverage to know if you all have one of these in the compartment.

Default Re: Safety triangle?

mine doesn't have it either. I remember when I had my '02 ML320 years ago, it had the compartment, but it didn;t come with one also.

Default We got one when we did our euro delivery but.......

it did not fit in the cubby located in the rear hatch. I always stored in the spare tire well. Just recently I was able to get one out of an 05 A4 cabriolet and it was the proper size to fit in the cubby. Tha part number on the outside of the red pastic casing is 8HO 860 251.

Default Thanks all -->

It never occurred to me that this would have been discussed before but thanks for the data. I'll bring it up when the car goes in for some punch list items. Waiting for parts.
