Miles to empty display: why does it even bother with 300+???
Filled up yesterday after a relaxed 25 miles ride on the freeway...380 miles to empty. Yeah right.
Love this car, but one thing Audi really does suck at -- their method of calculating distance until empty.

It's your "current" mpg calculated distance at that moment..
so being on the hwy, you were averaging something like 17.4 gallons times whatever mpg you were getting.
Basically, at that moment you are driving, that style, should dictate your miles till empty.
However, I dont' know the "defnition" of moment in my example. I don't know how long it takes the average, but max 15 mins of driving. EVerytime i get off of the fwy, I get higher miles till empty than when i was on the street just prio.

funny, as I parked a few moments ago, I had 320 left to go, 57 miles from fillup
and this is back road driving, not freeway. Hell freeway is where i lose miles.
Sweet ole country back roads. 360 miles to a tank.
