Default Bertini's in Roseville for Major Service?

I asked about 2Bennett a number of months ago and got the impression that they were hit or miss.

My 99.5 Avant needs the timing belt/tensioner done. Only 48k miles on the car but time is ticking away and I think it's finally time to get it done.

So I've heard nothing but good things about Bertini's and a lot of mixed reviews on 2Bennett. 2Bennett is very close to where I work so that's convenient, but I wouldn't want a service like this one botched. Bertini's is also running a 10% off labor special through the end of the year if you go to their website and print their coupon. So is 2Bennett still pretty hit or miss?

Audiboy: If you read this, please send me your *working* email address (ego69 doesn't work, amigo), I wanted to drop you a note and say hi.

Default I wonder how hard the TB's are on those things? They can't be any worse than our

2.7T. I should do one sometime. Too bad TT boy got rid of his A4 or else I'd try on his. If I were you...Bertini's. And 48K is a bit soon isn't it?

Default Bertini's was good to me and my 16V Jetta, replaced exhaust valves and cams in no time.

Long time business and well respected . . .

Default Yup... Great Shop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Just had my A4 Serviced there last week. They have one guy who *only* works on VW's and Audis... he knows his stuff... They had to redo a bunch of work that Niello did wrong a year before.

They're patient... IE: They take the time to diagnose the item right... I like that. Rather than slap it on and get it out the door (The Niello Way)

Default Not really, usually a day or two...

I've had my A4 in a couple times in the past couple months... was able to get in the next day the first time, and 2 days on the next call (last week).

Default Hmmm, i have some issues.....

I got quoted three different amounts on the exact same service in a one month span, Not too sure I understand LARGE price flux in only 25 day span

Talk to Chris... he's the service Advisor who seems to know Audi's Best.
