Default Finally got the LED License Plate lights on

Took a flat blade screwdriver that I hit with a small sledge hammer (hitting to the right facing the trunk from the rear) while the screwdriver was inserted into the slot. I used the widest blade screwdriver I had that would fit the slot.
Having a beer first to calm my nerves helped too.

Yes, its takes some nerve to exert that kind of force. I've removed mine twice now and can't get over the sudden "bang" it makes when it eventually releases. Guess it's made to be water tight.
