Q3 Boot Mount Bike Rack
Hi I am looking for a boot mount bike rack.
I have seen the previous post on racks but Thule does not have the Q3 in its fit list. I dont want to buy one and then it damages my car or the rack.
Suggestions? Ideas? Please
Cheers

Not sure exactly what you mean by "Boot mount bike rack" but i'd avoid anything that straps on the the rear gate, they're nothing but trouble... a hitch mounted bike rack is the way to go. Assuming you're in europe, something like this is the way to go (after installing the factory hitch.) http://www.eurohitches.com/portilo-b...rier-p-67.html
Here in the US there are a ton of options for the standard hitch, (1.25" or 2") but i'm not sure if the options are quite the same number of options for the euro style hitch unless you get an adapter.
Personally i like the hitch mount since biking is inevitably a dirty affair and anything that strap on will get dirt in it and wear out the paint wherever is may be hooked on to or braced up against. Roof carriers I don't like as i'm usually exhausted after a ride and this increases my likelihood of dropping the bike on the car, and (at least when mountain biking) there is an avalanche of potential mud and dirt dropping off my bike in muddy conditions.
