I've been trying to get my old (ISO) serial Vagcom to work on my car. Though it was a software issue, downloaded the new software version (the last one that works with the ISO) and same results.
I've tried changing the spare fuse, etc. Basically I load it up, plug it into the port, and do the "Test" option. All comes up OK (0- System ready, Fastsynch OK) and then go to the OBDII module.
It tries to connect 4x and then it tells me the car is not OBDII and if it's an Audi/VW to try the modules. I do and it stays in the OBDII testing cycle.
I've had this for over 4years and this is the first time I've had any issues trying to connect. Spend 45mins looking at the FAQ on the RossTech site, and the archives, but haven't found a similiar problem.
Thanks in advance-
Ernesto
