Did you drain the gas and replace with fresh?

after 7 years, everything is seized and rusted, crank that engine by hand somehow first. Add some fresh oil, lubricate what can be lubricated, not just crank
not to mention old diesel

After 7 years and old lubricants and fuel you are going to have your hands full. As G-Can said, you may want to crank the engine by hand first.

Did you watch the vid? It is clearly cranking over just fine, not "rusted". Just not firing.

I'd start with fresh fuel, fresh fluids and a fresh battery.

That clinking sound when trying to crank is a 100% sign that battery is gone. When you replace the battery, crank it and observe the exhaust in case of no start. If it's not firing up and there is no black smoke while cranking, inspect the fuel line/pressure first. Diagnose further, if needed.

No, do not just add to the old fuel in the tank, you will have to figure out how to drain it.

At least with the petrol version you can disconnect the fuel line under the hood and let the fuel pump do the rest into a can. I think the pump will continue to run on it's own because it will never achieve a pressure setting in the fuel delivery tubing. If that is not the case it should be easy enough to locate the fuel pump relay and jumper it out. I would think that any fuel remaining in the tank after this procedure would be sufficiently diluted by filling with new fuel, and probably include some fuel system cleaner as well.
