Default what are these things?
So I've owned the Q for several months now and still can't figure out what these things are in the headliner between the back of the front doors and the front of the rear doors. What are they?

Ah, that makes sense. I couldn't tell from the picture, what does the netting connect to at the bottom, the tops of the rear seats?

There are latches at the top of the rear seats (when folded down) or also in the cargo area.
