Default Prices Paid for S7

Hello,

I'm an Audi newb but have been researching my first one. I'm going to pull the trigger on an S7 within the next few weeks. Unlike other cars I have purchased in the past (many), there does not seem to be any information about prices paid that I can find anywhere on the net. Edmunds has virtually nothing for the S7. Without this information it is very difficult to negotiate a price or even know where to begin and still seem reasonable to the salesman.

Would S7 owners mind giving their prices paid over invoice? Please include as much detail as you can including Year Model, MSRP, Invoice, and price paid (including destination charge) for your S7. Leave tax , title, etc. out which varies from state to state. If you paid any additional dealer charges, or were able to avoid any additional charges, that would also be useful.

I think this thread would potentially be helpful to everyone on this forum now or in the future prior to next Audi purchase.

Thanks

Find a dealer that participates in Costco auto program - think they will charge $2800 over dealer invoice (regardless of options).

No Costco Audi listed dealers around here (Oregon) Best deal I have so far is MSP less $1500 and that is a dealer 170 miles away in Washington.

I found two dealers in northeast who were going to do at-invoice pricing on custom-ordered, loaded 2014 S7 with ED. Ultimately I went with the one closest to me who I offered $1,000 above invoice which he agreed to do.

Don't forget the 6% discount program for Audi Club of NA (ACNA). To be eligible you need to be a paid member for 6 months or get a lifetime $750 membership with no waiting period. Also can be used with other qualifying factory loyalty discounts.

Good idea but ONLY IF you cannot negotiate a bigger than 6% discount on your own. I did, so membership to ACNA would have been pointless if my only intention was to get a 6% discount (plus don't forget the $750 which takes away from the 6% off)
