Wow - that was the most vague post ever! Year, options, engine, body style etc?

One of his FEW true contributions.

Unless you call driving away advertisers a contribution too. :P

Mandeep has helped me a LOT over the years but the whole AW vs QW thing was/is sad. There are two sides to everything... and he may or may not be at fault - Meh, doesn't effect my relationship with him in any way.

On other issues if you were referring to him leaving here - If people knew the whole story about "the other forum" I think you'd find a mass exit there too..... I don't even know everything, far from it, but I don't trust the QW founders any more than any one else at all.

I go there because I have nothing better to do and the local forums are super slow.

I stop by too as there are a lot of great people - but I have some real issues with that forum.

So why go there? Why not encourage those folks to leave? The only reason people left is *some* people don't like the format, and the rest left because they felt the content and contributors left too. If some come back, many will follow.

Plus, given that certain people have proven they don't care to actually run the site in a professional way, the lawless and nasty prevail.

Good points. I have two advertisements on my car: An AW lic. plate frame & Axis stickers. Trouble with encouraging AW on TOF is that you get railroaded so, SO fast by people who love to bash AW for no reason other than "mob-mentality" or "but it's not Kawf".

I have tried to gently nudge via emails and phone a few people but most just run with the herd.... sadly I did at first too and it got me to place and a mind-set I didn't like at all. I am glad to be here and hope to be here helping out for a long time to come. Plus I like being able to nuke posts and play moderator. LOL.

I won't go into any issues with this format over TOF etc etc - I am secure in the feeling that this site will come out strong and every bit of work put in is a step in the right direction. Are there more steps to go - of course - but the only way to succeed is to keep pushing ahead.

Doug
