I tried that exact method...
...and tried it again today when I did my final install, and the damn things just wouldn't come out! I've never seen such stubborn pins!

what is the final verdict
So, obviously this thread applies to me, so no back story. About the guy who found, from Jag mechanic, that pin 4 was co and that the 3 pin doesn't need it, do i only need to modify the sensor socket and plug away, or do i still need the pot/resistor? thanks
