Found a good deeal, waiting ot have it independently checked as it's way out of state. Silver with black, 18,500 nmiles, my Audi dealer tells me all of the service history looks good. I have a deal for $40K if all checks out.

If I buy the car, what should I look out for?

I have the same car (if it's a 6MT). No problems of significance to report. Watch out for:
1. Sunburn
2. An uncontrollable desire to modify, and in particular to improve the exhaust tone.
3. If it has stock tires, could be worn pretty well by 18K. Best to get rid of the stockers anyway.

Inquisitor

Don't know if you or roadkingrider1 care, but Audi Club of North America recently instituted a "no convertibles" rule at their driving events. Kind of a bummer for me, since I really enjoyed the first (and now probably only) event I went to. FYI.

The car is being inspected on July 5th and if all goes well, I might spend a bit more time in this forum. This will be my 4th Audi. My previous cars: 1983 Coupe GT-1998 A6 Avant-1999 A8.

Once you register your name with AOA as the new owner, you should be good to go as you will be under warranty. Congrats - go have some fun.
