Default Keeping the cab

I got the new top installed (go Audi) and I plan on keeping the car. A little worried since I have 52,000 on the 2004 (1.8t) and put about 20,000 miles/yr. I figure that the engine has been around long enough to last a while.

Just got my wife a Saab 9-3 and considered trading in the Conv for a new 9-3 conv, but they did not want to give me enough for my car. I figured if the deal was good, I would go for it. If was only ok, I would keep the Audi and drive it 2 more years until it is payed off.

Anyway - going to buy the RNS-E (nav) since i am keeping it. Need a new toy in the car.

Default Well done with the roof...

Audi engines last along time... its the other things around them that can cause issues.

I have 99975 on the allroad..today and its only an 03.

All my other audis were well into 150K before we got rid of them and never an engine problem.

Enjoy the car..and the NAV..contact TeddyBGame on the A6 (c5) forum. He sells them complete with the harnesses or he will just help you install it. via e-mail

Default Not cheap

Check top update for my story. Audi covered it for me. The dealership said it would be about $6k. If I had to pay for it myself, I was going to go to an European Service shop to save money.

What is wrong with your top?

Default Use Insurance

I would make a claim and have the dealer do it to make sure it is done correctly.
