Default After a long time sitting, what should I do?

My car hasn't been started or run for about a month and a half. I am assuming I should pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it for a while to get the oil circulating. Anything else I should do?

I would just turn the key and start it.

Default use the bathroom? get a beer?

I would turn the key to on to see if the battery is even at 12v.

you can do the oil pump trick, if you want, but I agree with the others to just start it. 6 weeks isn't that long.

Default If the battery is not on a tender and is dead, charge the battery before you start the car.

Avoid jumper cables if possible.
