LED CONVERSION FOR FRONT TURN SIGNAL
#21
I've been really interested in doing this and for the 2010-2012 models this seems to be the only way. Is there a size of LED I should be looking for when buying them. Like the other guy I really want something brighter since LED's tend to be less bright than their lumen counterpart in an incandescent bulb.

They also look like they would be easier to modify to fit and might not require soldering anything.

I'm not sure if these would be brighter yet but they are certainly cheaper.

According to a random website I found, 5050 smd's are ~15 lumens and the 3156 smd's are ~5 lumens. Making the ones from amazon a total of 285 vs 270 for the iJDM ones. Not that much really... but factor in the price I don't think they're that bad of a deal. Might give them a try.

There is a inexpensive place to buy led lights without taking anything apart.

I just finished mine today. I wouldn't mind making some depending on what people would be willing to pay. Took me a fair bit of time to get it right and solid in there.
