Ah yes he worked on the beloved 3.0 (Mutley snicker snicker) and so as the moral of the story is told "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy".

Well, I have something to look forward to with my 03 3.0. 103K on the 2nd belt, freezing in the garage and no space heater. Haven't replaced a belt since they were chains in the 60's. Better start stocking up on Bourbon and Scotch now I guess. Gonna be a long spring and/or summer.

Well if would make you feel any better I'm right there with you I'm at 82K on a 04 3.0 and this May (I hope) it's getting done, no liquor for this old boy just some cold ale's and some tunes in the garage.

I could probably say the same thing about my audis and how they drove me nuts at times (I've seen the empty engine bay on each of them) but after some point, after fixing all the gremlins, they have been pretty reliable and oh so fun to drive.
