What manual transmissions can i use in an 01 a6 2.7t.

I kind of like the stock manual six speed coupled with a 6.2L CSB.
A 572 CBB probably won't fit in there much less the trans won't last long….

The 01E 6-speed transmission is what's used in these from the factory. There are many Audi vehicles that used it with varying engine combinations. That means there are different gear ratios and final drive ratios available. Do a thread search here or a Google on 01E and you'll find plenty of info. PS - The one on the 2.7T has an oil cooler too.

As far as a swap from a 2.7 auto to a manual, know what you're getting into. The trans is just the beginning, you need a lot more to complete the swap. the differential is different from the auto. If you really want to do it (it's really awesome) then just find a crashed manual a6 and get all the parts you need. I think there also was a site that was selling the whole retrofit kit for about 2k.
