Which VAG Com should I ask for a birthday present?

Default Which VAG Com should I ask for a birthday present?
My birthday is coming up, so I figured I would ask the wife for a VAG Com......should I buy a new one, or look for a used one then just buy the licenced software? Default HEX/CAN usb so you can use it on the new MED-9 CAN based cars
It's backwards compatible with all of the older KWP MED-7 stuff too.

Yes...living with my Parole Officer (shhhh) in Carillon Park.

I have a Jeep thing tomorrow morning @ 10am...if you have a moment I'll drop the HEXUSB VAGCOM over and you can test it out and see if it meets your needs...get it back over beers next week or something...?
