Default Newbie leather stain & general maintenance help

Hi

Found a marker stain about 1 year old on tan leather seats, what kind of product should I buy to remove it?

I also have black marks on the plastic dashboard, what kind of product should I buy to remove it?

Is there a cleaning kit for me to buy to maintain the exterior and interior of the car?

Am I better off going to a shop for interior and exterior detail (NYC resident)?

Newbie background:
1) never had a car with leather seats
2) never fixed or maintained a car
3) NYC resident, I just use zip car or cabs
4) wife owns 2013 A5 Premium Plus

Thanks for the help!

i use this to deep clean plastics, i've also used it on leather (being careful) and had great results

do a small unseen area first to make sure it doesnt do more harm than good (unlikely but worth checking)

Any suggestion for the leather stain?

I prefer to use a leather stain remover for the seat stain.

I was going to suggest this, but they say it only works on new stains:

FWIW, Leather Master is the OES for Audi USA products.

I'll look for another ink remover. I need to search a bit for it..

Welcome aboard!

You know, if that's right at the edge of the seat (I can't tell much from your foto), that's probably not leather. These vehicles have what I call leather inserts meaning just the center portion of the seat is real leather.
