Xenon Headlights Tint
Hey Guys
I have a 2012 Q5 3.2 with the standard Xenon headlights. I noticed that the tint of the xenon is slightly yellowish, and the brightness seems to be not bright enough. Do these xenon bulbs need changing over time, and if so, what type of bulb should I be looking at?
Thanks!

You can change by D3s 5700 osram
Or 6000k Phillips
With white blue
Im using 5700 osram, but not enough blue for me )
It cost me more than 200 for original one ordered from England
Sr for my bad english

Xenon capsules (that's what the makers call them) can be had in different color temperatures from different sources. The higher the color temperature (5000K-6000K) the "bluer" white they will be.
And the normal life, if they are getting correct voltage, should be at least ten years in a car. If they are getting the wrong voltage (too high or low) that could affect color and life as well.
Compared to tungsten or halogen lights, they should appear "whiter". Compared to the new LED headlamps, they will appear "yellower".
