Ive also noticed that on some models the display screen differs - some are bigger and some are smaller - whats the differnce can anyone explain pls . thanks

They do have the nav button. The system is optional however

I didn't get the Navigation option, but I did retrofit it for a used Navigation from EBAY.

As with most Audi models there are multiple trims. The base Premium Q7 does not have 3G MMI Nav Plus which includes Audi Connect and the larger screen among many other features found in the Premium Plus and Prestige. If you explore the Audi USA website you can compare the differences in the three trims.

If you are looking at earlier model Q7's...2007 and 2008's for instance. The base models didn't come with Nav and only came with a smaller screen that handled basic car functions.
