Struts help
I need urgent help,
My car has been off the road for 12 days now and need to get it back on the road.
I was in the process of replacing a front airbag, and will now have two new bags on the front as i recently replaced one. The problem i have is that i have found that i need to replace the front struts. i tried to order the blistein arnott assemblies but was informed that they have been discontinued.
Can anyone help with regards to where to source a decent set of front struts? I am based in the US.

You can try Ebay for a set of the Bilsteins. Have seen a few on there yet.
Another option is to replace with OEM shocks which IMHO are better. U.S. prices are stupid high, but you can get some from Germany here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/161168008545...84.m1423.l2649 You'll need to check on shipping cost, but shouldn't be crazy bad.

Yes, the OE units from Audi are fine to use , 1 year warranty on them.
The Arnott Bilsteins being discontinued is good thing !! They were problematic from the get go.
There are many on-line places that offer wholesale pricing, like Carson Heter is a great parts-friend to the Audi community, Milburn Audi is good too, www.parts.com also has good prices.
