Took her on her maiden voyage autocrossing this weekend.
I've done a handful of track days over the years but this is my first autocross. I've owned so many fast cars, that I felt I need to actually use them for what they were made for.
We had a double header out at the Blue Crab Stadium in Waldorf, MD (8 runs total).
The even was put on by Autcross Inc. and even though I rolled in a bit late (went to the wrong stadium.... Not a great start right? At least I never got lost on the course!) they let me walk (well I kind of had to run) the course and get in the first heat.
I started the day 60+ and had it in my head to break 50 by the end of the day. It might not be great racing by most standards,
That car has a lot more to it, and I've got to grow as a driver to take advantage of it.
Big props to the guys at Autocross Inc. Everyone there was very open and made it such an easy place to learn and make mistakes.
Is this an accomplishment that will go down in the history books? Not in the least, but after making changes and learning the car all day getting that 49.6 felt like winning the freaking Olympics.

Nice job! I love to autocross. Was it an SCCA Solo 2 event? What class did you run? How much pressure did you run in the front tires? Any signs of the sidewall rolling?

Yeah it was an SCCA event, I ran RBS (I think that's what we run stock)
Pressure wise I was waaaaaaay to high, there was a lot of sidewall rolling up front.
I didn't bring a hand gauge, and hated bumming one off of someone every lap (I know they didn't actually mind) so I didn't drop them enough.
Next time I go out I'll have to get a smaller gauge, I really want to play around with that.

I'm no expert, but maybe the pressure was too low. Here's another nose-heavy car (E39 M5) on a parking lot track, the tires (top performance Michelins) were inflated for the street and the first session they rolled under half way up the sidewall.

I'll have to post up mine,
It was similar, I was at street specs too (not considering the increase due to running them so hard)
I guess it's finding the balance of getting the best grip without having that much roll.

Alright so I have a question that might be better suited in another thread, but it's driving me insane...
Can anyone tell me why these three iPod Touches can't play Spotify through my iPod cable, but my iPhone 4S can?
2gen, 3gen, 4gen (the one with the cracked screen)
If I play through iTunes it works fine, but not Spotify...
