Default Wheel Spacers from ECS

Has anyone used the ECS tuning wheel spacers? I just got my winter wheels setup and i want to push the wheels out a bit to get a little more clearance from the calipers. There wasn't much clearance before i got them balanace and now the wheel weights are just about touching the calipers. I wanted spacers anyway so this is a good excuse. They have some spacer/bolt combo packages. The spacers are hubcentric. I know some of you guys have used the H&R's but these are a decent price. I'm thinking of doing 12.5mm for the fronts and 15mm for the rears. Thoughts?

What are the specs on your winter wheel/tire set up? Specifically, wheel size, offset and tire size? Part of the issue with winter is also to keep the wheels a little more tucked in so that you don't kick up all the salt and sand onto the sides of your car.

They are 19x8.5 with a offset of 35. They are from oemwheelsplus. If i push them out just a little i'll keep the wheel weights off the edge of the calipers.

Love my ECS spacers. I have used H&R previously but got a deal on my ECS this time. I think they are just as high quality. Zero vibration or any problems.

I originally had 12 and 15 but had some rubbing with my AF wheels. I switched the front to 10 and haven't had any more problems.

So they are already 10mm further out than stock. You might try a 5mm spacer if you think that will be enough. After that you need to go to 10 or 12mm to get a proper fitment and that may rub. I assume you are running 255/40/19 tires?

I just ordered a set of winter wheels but haven't gotten them mounted. Can you tell me if the wheel weights will clear the calipers? I know you said it's a tight fit but it'll still work w/o spacers right? Thanks.

Make sure they use the thinest stick ons they have and keep them as close to the spokes as possible or towards the inside of the wheel. It is incredibly tight if they place them directly in line with the calipers.
