hi, I'm wondering, about the codes my allroad is bringing up,01318 and also 00575,please excuse my ignorance but does that mean both the control module injector pump and the map sensor are kaput or will one effect the other,it's a diesel by the way,any help would be amazing

Check this out http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...ry:Fault_Codes
It should have some thing for you to go off.
Sounds like you may have a boost leak, at least with the 00575 code.

Thanks Mr GTA, I booked it in with a reputable service centre,it's a bit of a pain.Ive had the car for 5 months and not been allowed to drive it thank to a one year loss of licence, during which time I've been training my Japanese wife to drive.then to my great disappointment on the first day of my reissued licence,I pull over on the highway to blow into the mandatory breathalyser fitted to my car ,put my foot down to get back into the fast flowing traffic and no power,Imagine my surprise!tell you what, there is an allroad for sale in Adelaide on gumtree .au that was side swiped by a land cruiser, with low Kim's for $5000,I think that would be a good thing to have stored somewhere to take parts off, won't take long to reach $5000 in repair costs here in aus,as an example I went to the local vw ,audi dealer to price a new transponder key $550,cheers Franz

Further to my strange car problem, I've been driving the allroad for two days now and it seems to be normal.still brings up the same fault codes though, and the check engine light has now gone off,I looked at the maf sensor and it looks brand new its booked in tomorrow for a check up and now it seems to go fine, so the guy will think Ive lost the plot, and am being hypersensitive probably, one thing I don't understand(well probably more than one)is the yellow light levelling message on the LCD display which stays on. I've yet to see the fabled OK on the display
