its hard to believe the car is totaled, unless the engine block is damaged or similar.

Problem is the parts are very expensive. If the cost of the repair is over 50% of the value of the car, many insurance companies consider it totaled.

There's also a flooded S6 in Hartford awaiting auction for the past 3 months. Would make a great donor car.
