Default Back from a business trip to LA. One word (and a few letters) to encapsulate the trip: SHELBY GT-H

I know, a bit off topic, since we're all Audi afficionados, but who can't find a little place in their heart for good old American muscle.

I had the opportunity to blast around LA (and sit in a lot of traffic) in 2 of these machines - that's a long story...no issues, though.

I don't want to debate the merits of it vs. an Audi; any Audi. I'll just leave it that the car is a blast to drive, goes, handles incredibly - and not just for a Mustang, and sounds phenomenal. If you ever get the chance, rent it. Skimp on the hotel - stay at an Admiral Inn if you have to - but spend the money on the Shelby GT-H.

Oh, and the business portion of the trip went well too.

Default Drove a convertible Mustang from SF to LA down the coast in Sept... what a blast.

How much does Hertz want for the Shelby?

Default $129 or $139/day...not cheap considering you can get a Bonerville for $39 but

worth it.

I had a blast in a ragtop GT in Nova Scotia a few years ago; this was a much better car in every aspect.
