Air suspension deflating
Hello guys, this is my first post. I tried to search for this problem but found nothing.
I have an Audi A6 2005 3.0TDI with around 130.000km on the meter. Drives real smooth and I love it. But sometimes kinda randomly when I park it for more than 4hours the air suspension deflates. Only at the left rear wheel. Than when I start the car I have to wait for the green air suspension light to turn off(it turns of when it has finished pumping the air back).
My first thought is that the bag might be leaking. Does that mean I have to replace it or can it be fixed?
I live in Iceland and the official Audi dealer here sells parts for way too much so I might want to order online myself and have and indy mechanic install it.

Update on the problem.
I ended up buying an replacement bag from a German seller on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161122884635...84.m1497.l2649
Installed easily and everything seemed fine for a while. But that didn't last long, after the night the car was once again laying flat on the rear-left side. The same side I just installed a new bag.
So... it probably wasn't the bag. Than what can it be?

Update on my problem.
Problem: Rear left side of the air suspension keeps deflating.
What I have done so far:
-Air bag replaced with an aftermarket (http://www.air-suspension-shop.com/A...rear-4F0616001)
-Dealer searched for leakage. None found.
-Replaced air valve unit with an aftermarket one (http://www.air-suspension-shop.com/A...unit-4F0616013)
-Read error code: 02646 plausibility level control
But I still have the same problem. I am totally stumped and would really appreciate any suggestions or ideas..
On the side note I had some trouble trying to locate the air compressor and air valve unit so I want to share it here.
Both the air compressor and the valve unit are located on the far right side behind the bumper. I decided to remove the bumper to have better access but you might get away with just removing the cover behind the wheel.
Removing is easy, just the two screws in the front and the power connector. The replacement can only fit one way so you can use the color codes. Just be careful and keep it clean.

Always check the Audi vendors above @ Audiworld for parts..they are
highly rated and have been for many years.
Now, you checked for error codes and the AAS showed up. Also, looks like you found a leaking bag BTW, I think they can be patched cheaply with good adhesives for future reference. I think I saw Ed do this on Wheeler Dealers
I saw that error code discussed @
http://audiforum.us/threads/need-hel...pension.19932/
Thanks for the heads-up on the compressor location with photos..very helpful AW style!
Please keep us posted on your progress and we'll keep looking also, be sure and check the A8 forum since AAS is standard on those.
The Adaptive Air Suspension is one option the A6 Q really knows how to use.

Problem "solved"!
About two weeks or so after replacing the air valve unit the problem stopped. Don't know why it didn't work immediately but my ride has been smooth for more than a month now so I consider this problem fixed.
