Finally, to answer your question about the air: proper bleeding of your brakes will eliminate any air in the system.
I'm planning to upgrade the MC this week on my 1998 Audi A6 Quattro as well. Is there any way you can reupload the pictures? Also, did you have to also change the brake booster?

For everyone else, I've searched the forums for others who upgraded their MC to no avail. Has anyone else tried to do so with the above MC or any other?
