We know our cars are sexy and sleek machines
But when a fellow audi enthusiast in an R8 gives you a thumbs up feels even better.

Nice! Funny, today was my first day "out" with my A7. I also got an enthusiastic thumbs up, two stares, and one conversation. . .

My 2012 A7 would definitely get noticed. Don't recall any super excited fans, but definitely some thumbs up and quite a few admirers.

I recently traded it in for a new RS7, and the other day, I was pulling off the FWY and stopped at the off ramp traffic signal waiting to turn right. An RS5 drove by and I managed to turn right and get behind him. As we stopped at a red light, the driver of the RS5 put his window down, stuck a good portion of his upper torso outside the window, and with his arms out, began to bow. Now that's respect!

One interesting observation, unless you are dealing with an Audi enthusiast, most regular folk haven't a clue about what an RS7 is, so I haven't noticed any more attention than what I got in my old A7.

Very true.^ Most people don't even know what Model it is, let alone if it's an A/S/RS, they can just tell it's a very stylish Audi. It all depends on where you live, but I honestly get compliments daily.

Yesterday, I made a right turn and noticed a BMW M5 about to get the green light to go in the same direction I was now travelling in. When the light changed I heard him floor the car....I took off too and at the next light he pulled up next to me, rolled down his window, and hollered "Awesome car man!"......

My A7 got extended eyeballs from a Tesla driver. I was enchanted by the electric story, but drive less than 5k miles/year and as far as car design is concerned the A7>model S!
