Well, apparently my brother locked himself out of the house and my mother has an emergency key so that's why she was there.

Teh fiance says "we were across that street at Jackie's showing her some of my new clothes." My mother stops grilling us and starts fussing about my brother locking himself out....

whew, and now I'm back in the house, trying to finish what we started... now that my mother is gone.
