Default Supercar reliability. M5 vs E55 vs RS6?

They all suck?

Why can't Lexus or Infiniti produce a "super" version of their M or GS....

Default You don't buy a supercar for reliability.

Default Have there been any major reliability issues with any of those three?

I know the E39 M5's clutch wears out prematurely, but I haven't heard of any repeated issues (ala the rod bearing failure on the first run of E46 M3s).

Don't know enough about the E55 or RS6 and the E60 M5 is too new.

Besides, weren't you the one who was afraid to drive the std. GS430 in the wet?

Default my father had an M5 ('00) for 3 years w/ no problems at all except...

needing a clutch at 14k miles. other than that it never went in for anything other than a scheduled service and he put over 40k miles on it.

I don't have any experience with the E55 or RS6 though so I don't know about them.

Default LOL guess you didn't read my post

Infiniti M45 and Lexus GS430 would be my "reliable"choice.

the M is 5.3 secs 0 to 60, pretty damn impressive for a non-super car
