i have one of the older versions of these cases for my 3G ipod. it's pearl white. i think it looks pretty cool.
i was thinking of maybe getting carbon for the new ipod for something different. what colors do you think look good? cases i'm still kind of on edge about the 4G ipod. i think the click wheel is a neat idea, but i like how everything's flush and 'touch' sensitive on the 3G. on the other hand, the 'click' will be nice and probabably easier to use. i'll miss the red lighting though. i think it looks cool ![]() anyone upgrade their 3G with a 4G? complaints?

And I don't want to battle playlists. Is it worth trading up to a 4G? Or should I wait?
Go with the Carbon or Artic.

that's all on you. if you want a 3G, i'll probably be selling mine in a few weeks for cheap.
those are the two colors i'm debating about too. keep it white, or go dark? i don't feel like spending $60 on cases. hmmm....

Is there enough of an improvement with the 4G to make it worth while? Seems to be if you want from a 3G to a 4G. Would be a huge jump from my 1G to 4G. I've heard the 5Gs won't be out for a while.
My wife has a mini and I do like the click wheel. Looks like the screen has improved on the 4G. After looking at both colors, I'd go with Artic. The case doesn't work with the dock though. My wife has a similar case for her mini and it has rendered the dock useless.

a lot of people don't like the sensitive 'touch' buttons on the 3G. sometimes i don't either. but i like the added color. the click wheel is cool, but why is it grey!? and i'd think that spinning it around you may accidentally hit one of the buttons? i don't have it yet, so i really can't comment. most of the cases make the dock useless. i always take it out of the case when i put it in my altec speakers. other than that, i don't use the dock. just use the cord to connect to my computer, and put on my headphones when i go running. it gets scratched too easily if out of the case.
i'm hoping the 5G's will incorporate more of the mini's 'durabilty' and color. i'd really like a brushed aluminum one. you wouldn't have to worry as much about scratching and it'd be nice to have something different.

Friend has a clear 'artic', I thought it looked kind of cheap, like you were trying to match the color but couldn't quite do it.
I say go for something contrasting. Awesome case, though.
