Default I actually said that becasue - iirc - US and metric speedos both go up to ~160mph

and it is half way up. After I posted it I noticed that it look like a mph speedo. hmmmm

Default Would the speedo & tach really hold their instantaneous readings after the impact?

Also note that the tach is only at 2100rpm. So it's more likely 80kph, not mph. I dunno about you, but my car is above 3000rpm when I am cruising at 80mph.
