Default Wheel Help? RS 4 replicas from Wheel Exchange/AAA? Are these lighter than OEM RS4 wheels? pros/cons

looking to buy 4 RS replicas made in Italy from Wheel Exchange. AAA seem to have the same ones and I also have a seller of some RS4 ORIGINAL equipment 17's for $1200. The replicas from wheel exchange are $589. Do you think I should spend the extra money and get the used OEM's? The replicas are 21 pounds. Is that heavier or lighter than the OEM's?

Thinking about Conti contact extreme tires. Need good rain performance and grip. Also the Potenza 750's but might not be available with 17's. My car is a 1995 S6 Avant

Default if the replicas are 21 lbs, they are lighter than OEM.

Default How do you like the Bilsteen set up? I had HD's without lowering and found them too stiff?

I have Boge Gas struts now and they felt great for a few days but have softened up too much.

Default I like the current set up, but.......

I haven't tried out any other shocks/springs, so I don't have a lot to compare it to.

Default I would go with Hartmann

As from what I've heard they are higher quality than AAA.

Default I think someone is not telling the truth, 21lbs?

I have seen just about all the reps out there and 21 lbs I would question. Our wheel is 24.5lbs and others I have samples of are 25-26.

Default Which RS4 OEM rims are you talking about?

The 17x7.5 RS4-style celebration wheels are 19.5 lbs.

But lighter is not necessarily better for cast wheels. Cast + light generally equals soft. The celebrations wheels bend very easily because they're so light.
