My wife's 2003 Jetta 1.8T (i know not Audi, same components, and i didnt want to dare try my luck at some of the other VW specific forums) ...has a coolant leak that i believe i have traced to this particular part. I found the cooling system diagram layouts but still cant quite figure out which part and part number this is.
![]() ![]() It looks like there is a leak from where the two halves of the part are joined together. Maybe there is a gasket that goes in between? ![]() As a reference its next to and slightly below the alternator as seen in the last one This part doesn't look excessively difficult to access and replace, however any feedback on part number, price and installation difficulty would be awesome. TIA!
