Default Carbonio intake

alright, im not interested in arguing with anyone that thinks stock airboxes are better than any aftermarket intakes. i am wondering if anyone from northeaster CT area would mind showing me their carbonio intake.I found one for a reasonable price and im debating if its worth it or not. anybody with a b5 a4, please let me know how you like yours...anything i should know about it before i go and buy one?

Default It's not worth it. Save for something with real performance gains.

Default I'm in NYC area

But I got one for my APR 3+ kit. I wouldn't get one for a KO3. Price vs. performance gain is probably not there

Default i have to disagree...IMHO an intake with a good heat sheild will not affect preformance

with my setup I can touch the intake side of my heat sheild after hard runs and it is cool to the touch. When I dynoed my car all runs were within 1 hp with the first run when the car was cold being the worst. Now I can't prove that it is better then the stock air box but it does not lose power due to the heat like most people state.
