My A4 is gone as of today :-( Picking up my Rabbit 4 dr on Friday or Sat.

I'll miss quattro dearly, but this is a good move for me. Something I don't have to worry about fixing, thanks VW warranty. Hopefully the new owner will take good care, he used to have a coupe quattro and also has a Corrado project car.

Skip a chip. Start to peice together a GT28R or GT28RS turbo kit, that should make you forget about the VR6.

Just took the chassis to get blasted last week. Got all of the suspension back from the plating shop two weeks ago, but I need to place the order for new rod ends ($600 alone on rod ends!)

Then, someday, I have to tackle the bodywork.

We had a Zinc/Lola chopped for soloII now we have the Reynard for actual racing. Some of the guys we run with are mostly reynards a storr a formual renault a couple other sports racers a Mallock etc its a fun time.

The funny thing about me is that I like to do track days and work on being faster, but I would rather have fun and toss the car around a corner than be smooth. I have absolutely no competitive desire when I am behind the wheel.

On the other hand, I am a stage rally co-driver and I am super competitive as a co-driver. But, I have been slowly getting out of co-driving and I had a big off this season, so my wife is encouraging me to stop now.

Vintage racing seems right for me. Go out and drive fast and have the occasion dice with someone who is as slow as me.
